Millpledge Haemostem is a haemostatic gauze that actively accelerates clotting for rapid bleeding control in wounds that don't respond to direct pressure alone. It provides a scaffold for platelet aggregation and coagulation-factor activation, dramatically shortening clot formation time versus standard gauze. Sterile, single-use - an emergency first-aid product before veterinary evaluation.

How to use: apply directly to the bleeding site and hold firm, sustained pressure for 3-5 minutes. Do not lift the dressing to check - this tears the developing clot and restarts the process. If bleeding continues after 5 minutes of sustained pressure, maintain pressure and go immediately to veterinary emergency care. Once bleeding is controlled, soak gently with saline before any removal attempt. Haemostatic dressings are emergency products, not a substitute for veterinary evaluation of serious wounds.
