The RxAccess Playbook

Everything we used to run a structured, bilingual walk-in minor ailment clinic in a community pharmacy — workflows, patient materials, data collection and outcomes. Free to download and adapt. No sign-up required.

Ontario pharmacists can assess and prescribe for 28 minor ailments, but most pharmacies still deliver the service passively — no dedicated hours, no structured intake, no outreach. RxAccess is our attempt to change that at one pharmacy in Orléans, and to document it well enough that any pharmacy can copy it.

Everything below is free, unrestricted, and yours to adapt to your own province and practice.

Patient materials — editable templates (EN + FR)

Posters, flyers, bag stuffers, referral cards, counter talkers and partner brochures — unbranded, with placeholders for your pharmacy's details. Two versions of the same designs:

Outcome summary

What the clinic actually produced: consultations, conditions treated, resolution rates, proportion of patients without a family physician, language and newcomer reach, and estimated emergency and walk-in visits avoided.

Before you use these: the pharmacy details and public plan are placeholders for you to fill in, but the 28-condition list reflects Ontario's minor ailment program as of 2026. Check your own province's scope of practice and public coverage and adjust the list accordingly. Consent and privacy documents are deliberately not included — those must be drafted for your province's health privacy legislation and reviewed by your own counsel.
