Before you book.
How far ahead should I book?
Ideally 4–6 weeks before departure — some vaccines need multiple doses or time to take effect. Leaving sooner? Come in anyway; partial protection is far better than none.
What happens at a travel consultation?
A pharmacist reviews your itinerary, health history, and current medications, then recommends the vaccines and preventive medications you need. Many can be administered the same visit.
Is travel health covered by OHIP?
Travel vaccines and consultations are generally not covered by OHIP, but many are reimbursed by private and workplace insurance. We provide receipts for your claim.
Do you administer the Yellow Fever vaccine?
Yes — ask us when you book. Some destinations require proof of Yellow Fever vaccination for entry, and we'll provide the official documentation you need.
