QUESTIONS

Good to know.

Is this covered by OHIP?

Yes — the assessment is free with a valid Ontario health card. You only pay for the medication itself, if one is prescribed (and that may be covered by your drug plan).

Do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are welcome, no appointment needed.

What happens during the assessment?

A pharmacist takes you through a short, private consultation — symptoms, history, and current medications. If appropriate, they prescribe treatment and can fill it right away.

Can children be assessed?

Yes, many of the 28 conditions apply to children — including diaper rash, head lice, impetigo, and pinworms. A parent or guardian must be present.
