Icy Hot Extra Strength Pain Relief Cream 85 g

Description: Icy Hot Extra Strength Pain Relief Cream is a dual action cold to hot cream that provides effective pain relief for simple backache, muscle and joint pain, and arthritis. The icy cool sensation helps to dull the pain. The warm sensation helps to relax the pain.

Uses: Temporarily relieves aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with: simple backache, lumbago, strains and sprains, and arthritis.

Directions for Adults and Children Age 12+:

• Apply thin and even layer to cover affected area and gently massage until completely absorbed; repeat as needed up to 4 times per day.
  
• If condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days, or clear up and occur again within a few days, discontinue use and consult a physician.
• Do not use on children under 12 years of age.

Medicinal Ingredients:

• Methyl Salicylate 30% w/w
• Menthol 10% w/w
  

Non-medicinal Ingredients:

• Water
• Emulsifying wax
• Stearic acid
• Cetyl Esters
• Triethanolamine
• Oleth-3 phosphate
• Carbomer

Warnings:

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Do not bandage, nor apply with external heat, such as an electric heating pad which may result in excessive skin irritation or skin burn.
• Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin.
• Skin burns, including severe skin burns and skin necrosis have sometimes been reported with products containing menthol. If you experience pain, swelling, or blistering, stop use and get medical help right away.
• Do not use this product if you are allergic to salicylates or if you are taking anticoagulant medication.
• Consult a physician prior to use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
• Keep this and all medication out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, call a Poison Control Centre immediately.
