The Herbal Cough & Cold Syrup, from Homeocan Kids 0-9 rand is composed of natural homeopathic ingredients. This syrup tastes like honey* and contains ivy leaf extract, an expectorant of natural source! Since ancient times, ivy has been known to treat bronchitis and colds. It helps to soothe coughs, clear the airways and treat inflammation of the bronchi. It relieves coughs and loosens mucus & phlegm.
Recommended Dosage:
- Children aged 0 to 1 year:
- 2.5ml (1/2 teaspoon), 1 time per day
- Children aged 1 to 4 years:
- 2.5ml (1/2 teaspoon), 2 times a day
- Children aged 4 to 12:
- 5ml (1 teaspoon), 1 to 2 times a day
Caution: If they persist or worsen, consult your health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use for children with gastritis or gastric ulcer. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use for infants and children under 2 years of age. See a health care practitioner immediately if your child has fever, shortness of breath, purulent cough, or coughing up blood. Consult a health care practitioner prior to concomitantly with opiate cough suppressants such as codeine or dextromethorphan. Do not use if your child is allergic to plants belonging to the Araliaceae family, sorbitol or to any other ingredient in this product. Hypersensitivity / allergy may occur. If so, discontinue use. Overdose can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and excitement, if so consult your health care practitioner.
