BSN Medical Tensoplast is a professional elastic adhesive bandage (EAB) that combines the conformability of a cohesive bandage with direct skin adhesion, creating a firm, supportive outer layer that resists slippage under heavy activity. Its woven cotton-elastic backing stretches with movement but returns to tension, maintaining consistent compression. Available in standard (zinc oxide adhesive) and latex-free (LF) versions.

EABs apply significant compression - apply with substantially less tension than feels necessary, especially around limbs, and check the toes after 30 minutes for swelling or coldness. For an open or infected wound this is an outer support layer only, never a wound contact layer. Clip fur at the application site for best adhesion and comfortable removal.
