BSN Medical Hypafix is a large-format adhesive non-woven fabric for securing dressings over large or awkward areas where conventional tape is impractical - large abdominal or thoracic dressings, drains, and broad post-surgical sites. Its soft non-woven backing conforms to body contours without wrinkling, and the gentle acrylate adhesive holds securely while staying kind to skin. 10 cm x 10 m roll, cut to size.

Hypafix is a fixation material, not a wound contact layer - always place an appropriate dressing between the wound and the fabric. It sticks best to clipped or shaved skin; over heavy fur, reinforce the edges with surgical tape. Remove slowly and parallel to the skin (an adhesive remover makes this more comfortable).
