It reduces bacterial burden and biofilm without antibiotics while supporting a moist healing environment, and its non-adherent construction removes cleanly without disturbing the wound bed. 10 dressings, each 10 cm x 10 cm.

Manuka honey works through osmotic action, hydrogen peroxide production, and low pH - mechanisms bacteria cannot develop resistance to. Valuable for infected lacerations and bite wounds, pressure sores, post-surgical dehiscence, chronic non-healing wounds, burns, and wounds with slough. A small increase in exudate in the first 1-2 days is normal as the honey draws fluid. Change every 1-3 days depending on exudate, cover with a secondary bandage to prevent licking, and pair with an absorbent secondary dressing for heavy exudate.
