3M Durapore is a strong, silk-like surgical tape with exceptional holding power, widely used for securing wound dressings, IV lines, and tube sites. Its adhesive bonds firmly to skin and fur while still allowing clean removal, and the fabric backing is water-resistant and breathable - suitable even in moisture-prone areas.

Use Durapore to secure gauze dressings and wound pads, anchor IV or catheter lines, and secure splints and light bandages. Clip fur first for better adhesion and easier removal. For high-movement or moisture-prone areas it holds better than gentle paper tapes; for sensitive skin and frequent dressing changes, a paper tape like Micropore is gentler.
