DEXTROMETHORPHAN HYDROBROMIDE SYRUP USP Dry cough syrup DM ANTITUSSIVE. Sugar Free.

Relieves dry cough.

Recommended Dosage: Adults and children 12 years and over: Recommended single dose 10 mL (2 tsp.) every 6 to 8 hours. Maximum daily dose: Do not take more than 40 mL (8 tsp.) per 24 hours period. Not recommended for children under 12 years old.

Caution: Do not use with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (drugs for depression or Parkinson's disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug Օwith other drugs containing dextromethorphan. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have a persistent cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema Օhave a cough with excessive phlegm (mucus) have difculty breathing or other chronic lung conditions. These could be signs of a serious condition. Օare pregnant or breastfeeding Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or last more than 7 days Օyou develop a fever, rash, or a headache that wont go away Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or get medical help right away, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms Store at room temperature (15 - 30ҰC)
